Now the "690LC" device that was previously in the "Other" tree has been renamed to "Antec CC," and has been moved to the USB Controllers tree in device manager. Setup was able to find the driver, and prompted me to install it, which I did I selected the folder where I unpacked the Chill Control software and ticked the "include subfolders" At the "How do you want to search for drivers" prompt, I selected "Brows my computer for driver software" I right-clicked on this device, and selected Properties > Change Settings > Driver tab > Update Driver In Device Manager, I saw an unknown device named "690LC" I installed Chill Control and encountered the USB error I'm on Windows 10 圆4, very latest version, on a fresh build Reviving this thread since I'm encountering the same issue, have solved it, and in case anyone is looking for help in the future. don't use Antec drivers or chill control.Īnybody managed to run the Antec 920 drivers under Windows 10 64 This may help anybody else who have the problem, it is a crude fix. I also disabled fast shutdown as a perceived problem - it is with dual boot to linux. The strange thing was the windows driver affecting the boot and bios, I suspect it was changing something in the pump firmware and I presume the bios was slow as it was trying to repeatedly access the pump causing windows boot to get corrupted - as it does. I re-installed Antec driver a couple of boots later and the problem re-appeared, so I have managed to again removed the Antec driver, reset the bios and the rig runs perfectly again I removed Antec driver and rebooted it now sees the pump as other - 690LC with unknown device/manufacturer. Sometimes Windows would boot with lots of vague errers - repairs, but if I managed to get past the bios and ran Linux - no issues and the rig behaves perfectly.Īt the intermittent good boot (to LInux) I checked hardware then added windows disk and scanned under Linux before a windows boot.Īfter windows repairs I get continuous (as in instantaneous non-stop) messages, install of last USB device connected had failed but nothing was showing as missing or error in the Device manager to identify the issue. Clearly a hardware issue so I disconnecting all unnecessary hardware (except pump). I tried re-setting bios and it cleared it only to re-appear on next cold boot. Sometimes goes into boot cycle (probably be mobo overclock auto recover working). over the last 3 daysĮrratic effects and very slooow to respond on cold boot about 50% of the time (takes over 30 seconds to get into bios setup and 5- second or more to respond to key press/mouse when in bios). This is really strange, the issue occured once before and I stripped my rig and did a fresh install of windows 10 and it went away. I'm running Windows 64 and Linux Mint on cold reboot. I've suddenly come across a USB issue with the 920.
